SEO takes a lot of time and effort and for this reason many try to cheat the system by doing it the quick or easy way. This can lead to fatal mistakes because there is no quick or easy way to do SEO.

 

SEO Don’ts

 

1. Spammy Programs and Paid Services

Do not use programs or paid services that spam your link everywhere.
By doing so there is a high chance that your will be website kicked out of the Google search results and fixing the damage takes a lot of time and it’s definitely not easy.

 

.2. Hiring SEO Experts

If you are going to hire an SEO expert to do your SEO for you then make sure they know what they are doing.
You need to filter out the spammers and liars.
Spammers will damage your SEO and liars will just waste your time and money.
Liars often promise that you will rank for every keyword you provide.
Unfortunately the truth is, no one can guarantee that you will rank number one in Google and if that’s what they’re promising then they are most likely lying.

 

3. Forums and Blogs

Do not spam forums and blogs.
This will only damage your reputation and decrease the amount of potential traffic.
Being helpful, especially in forums can be very beneficial.

 

4. Anchor Text

Do not continuously use the same anchor text as Google might treat your website as spam and decrease your ranking.
